LG G2 beats Apple iPhone to 'smartphone of the year'

LG’s G2 beat Apple’s iPhone to be named the smartphone of the year in the annual awards of technology magazine Stuff.
Nokia’s Lumia 1020 was crowned readers’ gadget of the year, beating off competition from Apple, Samsung and HTC.
Will Findlater, global online editor of Stuff, said the award showed how previously “struggling” LG had turned their fortunes around.
“This year's awards proves how quickly things change in consumer technology,” he said.
“LG has previously struggled to make an impact on the smartphone market, but the LG G2 is as good as smartphones get in 2013, and shows the established names how it should be done."
